Audio content
Like a true millennial my career producing audio started by downloading music, making playlists and burning cd’s in my parent’s basement.
I have dance to thank for starting my audio engineering career at such a young age…teenage Ali was in her basement, cutting and mashing songs together on for her high school dance team. Countless drafts were sent via AIM and Facebook to my teammates until the song was pERfEcT!
While my work with Luna Shark Media was focused on creating exclusive content for their premium members, I got a first hand view of creating a podcast from start to finish. Not to mention, I got to cheer on my best friend as she climbed the charts to #1!
Podcast pre-Production

The script, talking prompts, or interview questions are the foundation of your podcast episode. Support in this part of the podcast process can be insight on trending topics, drafted outlines, or research on a particular topic.
It is always great to have a second perspective when editing the script or listening for anything that needs omitting from a recording.
-
Accompanying assets are the little details that elevate your podcast. This could be choosing the perfect theme song, collecting an audio pull quote or preparing supplemental assets to link in the podcast description.
-
If you have a high quality script with low quality audio, you may lose listeners. Assisting with recording ensures that the audio will be clear and the highest quality. You may also catch a stumble that needs re-recording ;)
-
The last step before publishing a podcast is the final quality check. This ensures that all edits were made, there are no glitches and the levels are balanced before sharing it to the public.
Podcast pre-production goes hand in hand with my business strategy skills. To lead membership growth within the podcast world, I produced various audio series that were exclusive to paying members.

My software of choice is Adobe Audition but I am happy to also use Garage Band or Audacity.
…and more coming soon
Did you hear that?!
“Ali has been critical in getting my podcast up and running. It truly would not have been possible without her editing skills!”
— Ally Miller, The Eating with Al Podcast
